Giveaway #5 - The Italian Inheritance by Louise Rose-Innes
Today's giveaway is in homage to the self-published author and features the lovely Louise Rose-Innes and her BRAND NEW release which is out today.
ANTARCTIC AFFAIR marked the beginning of Louise’s career as a self-published author. Louise took two weeks off work to write the novel. Louise edited, formatted and released the novel herself. The only professional help came from a friend who designed the cover for her.
Being a web marketing expert, Louise did the promotion and marketing around the release herself. This included social media marketing, networking, writing press releases, establishing profiles on major platforms such as Goodreads and SavvyAuthors and generally experimenting with a vast range of guerrilla marketing tactics to see what works best.
Louise has established a marketing blog for writers aptly named MarketingForRomanceWriters.com. Here she gives free advice on online marketing techniques including self-publishing, social media marketing, self-promotion, email marketing, CRM, web PR and everything in between.
Louise’s second self-published book, also under her own publishing label, was a short novella, titled LESSONS IN LOVE, which deals with the emotions involved when two close friends cross the line and have sex.
“It is a very well written book about a number of problems connected with lovemaking: self-esteem, physical pleasure, self-evaluation and also re-discovering of oneself. What I like most about this book is that it is not just another story of lust and passion, but an account of the emotional dimension of an intimate relationship. I think that the most important feature of this book is that the author manages to show the reader that physical attraction and passion must be supplemented by trust and respect in order to make a perfect whole which could be labelled 'LOVE'.”
THE ITALIAN INHERITANCE, Louise’s most recent novel, has just been released on Amazon and will soon be available on Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Kobo, Smashwords and All Romance Ebooks. It features a London-based nurse who suddenly discovers she’s the heir to a vast Italian family fortune. Once again an exotic setting features strongly in the novel, with vivid descriptions of the Italian island of Capri including all its Mediterranean charm and glamour.
